Mumbai: Mount Mary II

Outside the church are booths manned by sellers of religious wares, like this lady who was selling wax replicas of things people wish to ask the Holy Virgin to grant them. The people buy these wax items and leave them as tokens in front of the altar.

Especially poignant are the wax figures of babies and pregnant women, but people will also wish for material things, like houses, cars, aeroplanes or even shopping malls (you see it's a mall because the replicas are helpfully marked as such).
